Awair air quality monitoring is now accessible through Alexa.

Today, Awair announces its official integration with Amazon.  Awair’s Glow air quality monitor will now connect with Alexa, giving Amazon Echo and Dot users effortless and hands-free control of their Glow and the device connected to it for safe and healthy air.

The Glow plugs directly into the wall and tracks a room’s air quality within the Awair app including temperature, humidity, CO2 and chemical levels.  With Glow, you can quickly see the status of your air on the built-in color-coded LED and retrieve in-depth insights and tips on the Awair app.

Customers can control “non-smart” devices like fans, humidifiers, and heaters by plugging them into the Glow in the ON position. Once connected, setup and device management are seamless through the Awair app.

Awair’s integration with Alexa is its most significant yet, given that Amazon holds more than 70% of the market share in digital assistant usage, according to a forecast by eMarketer. Awair announced an integration with Google Home earlier in May. Given that Google Home is the closest competitor to Alexa, Awair’s air quality monitoring is now accessible to the majority of customers that use digital assistant-enabled devices.

The Awair Glow can be purchased on and Amazon for $109.99 and the Awair app can be downloaded in the Play Store and the App Store.
