Watermark Plus for Mac receives update to version 1.5.

In August 2014, we published a review of Watermark Plus for Mac from PearlMountain Software. Today, I am delighted to introduce you to version 1.5, a substantial update that provides new watermark profiles as well as a new ‘single’ mode. Watermark Plus for Mac is a photo converter that allows you to add watermarks to your image, resize and rename photos in batches or as single pictures.

Watermark1The nice thing about this particular update is that PearlMountain really took its customers’ opinions into account. The updates to the app have been tailored to fit users’ wishes while still retaining the app’s merits and including a lot of new features.

Some of the new features include:

  • 17 built-in watermark profiles that support saving and applying customizations with one click
  • New script watermark that allows you to fill your photos with text tags
  • Support for inserting info stamp for text watermarks
  • Group/Ungroup watermarks
  • Adjust effects for text watermarks
  • Auto snap watermark to photo/objects
  • New preset image watermarks
  • Brand new user interface
  • Additional bug fixes

The update I am most excited about is the single mode. I love being able to convert batches of photos, but it’s wonderful to be able to modify watermarks pic by pic if needed. For example, I use Watermark Plus most when I’m adding the MacSources logo to photographs taken of review products. Usually, I choose to place the logo in the bottom right-hand corner of the picture. But, sometimes the logo would be more visible elsewhere on the photo. With the single mode on Watermark Plus, I can move through each image and make sure the logo is the most visible it can be. This was a great addition to the app.

Watermark Plus is still a very easy-to-use, efficient app that makes adding watermarks and converting mass amounts of photos very easy. I have noticed that the app runs smoother than it did before, which can be attributed to the bug fixes and new UI that PearlMountain put in place. Watermark Plus can be used to modify a dozen photos or a hundred. Watermark Plus for Mac handles large amounts of photos just a well as small amounts of photos.
