VideoGif 2.0 provides more features for the advanced video to GIF converter.

In March of this year, we published a review for VideoGIF, an efficient, easy-to-use video to GIF converter. Pearl Mountain Software, the developer for VideoGIF, released an update for VideoGIF 2.0 at the end of May that includes some wonderful new features that allows users to create more unique animated GIFs. The app still allows you the agility of creating quick, elegant GIFs from video files, but now you can add enhancements that make them more interesting. Some of the new features of VideoGIF 2.0 include:

  • Adding great stickers to refine the GIF
  • Freely manage overlays of stickers and texts – freely set their opacity and a adjust layers
  • Customizing the frame range for stickers and texts. Users can decide the start frame and end frame that will display the sticker/text
  • Rotating texts and stickers at will

When testing out the update of VideoGIF, I found that the new features don’t weigh down the app, they just add to it. They are logical enhancements. I particularly like the sticker feature. The example I used was an HD video file of a field with grass blowing. I decided to turn it into an invitation to a fake party. The addition of the stickers made the GIF more fun  and allowed me to create another use for the exported GIF.

I can recommend VideoGIF not only because of the update, but also because its creates an easy, agile way to share video.

VideoGIF is currently on version 2.0 and is on sale for $4.99. For more information, visit
