There are many different Twitter apps for the iPhone. My personal favorite has always been. Tweetie. Now that Twitter has bought Tweetie they plan on changing the name to Twitter for the iPhone and turning it into a free app. Even tho the developer of Tweetie will now be working for Twitter, will they keep the app running as clean as it does now?
Twitter has been growing by leaps and bounds around the world. Careful analysis of the Twitter user experience in the iTunes AppStore revealed massive room for improvement. Twitter acquires Tweetie, a leading iPhone Twitter client. Tweetie will be renamed Twitter for iPhone and made free (currently $2.99) in the iTunes AppStore in the coming weeks.
