A couple of months ago, I started rearranging my desk. I needed to make room for a new desktop PC but I wanted to retain my existing system — a MacBook Pro — along with it. Until I reconfigured my desk setup, the MacBook Pro rested on a Laptop Mount that was part of a dual-monitor arm. I realized that I had to disassemble that in order to make room for the desktop computer. So, what do I do with the MacBook Pro? Even though I had a few Twelve South stands in the wings none of them were white and I really wanted to stick with as many white accessories as I could for my setup. That’s how I ended up with the BookArc Flex.

User Experience
The BookArc Flex arrived in a standard Twelve South retail box. The box has a full-color lifestyle photo that spans the back of the box and the front features a simple image of the stand in use on a white background. This is the classic Twelve South-branded style that I’ve come to know and love. It’s clean and all the pertinent details are included. The interior of the box had the BookArc Flex sitting stationary with a small box in the center that reads “BookArc Flex” Twelve South also includes a little ‘Thank you’ note on the instruction tag for the stand.
When I first saw the design of the stand I thought that it might be too flimsy to hold up a full-size MacBook Pro, but that fear was quickly assuaged when I pulled it from the box. The stand weighs a little more than half a pound and it’s very well-balanced. It sits flat on a desk surface and is very sturdy. Twelve South included rubber/silicone feet on the ends of the stand, which prevent it from sliding around and it even has a couple of rubber stoppers on the inside of the stand arms that would prevent the stand from dinging up a laptop.
The BookArc Flex is exactly what I was looking for to complete my desk setup. Not only is it available in white, but it has an interesting style to it which adds a little something extra to my desk. Twelve South never ceases to amaze me with its product designs and the high-quality standards that they hold themselves to. I love the BookArc Flex. It’s minimalistic while still being incredibly secure. I have no doubts that the stand will hold my laptop securely and that it will last for a long time.

The BookArc Flex exceeded my expectations in both design and functionality. The stand not only completes my desk setup with its sleek design but also offers reliable support for my MacBook.
