Fix iOS and tvOS errors efficiently and easily.
A couple of months ago, a co-worker came to me with her teenage son’s iPhone. He had forgotten the passcode and ended up mashing a bunch of numbers into it until it became permanently locked. My co-worker was sort of frantic about it because she wanted to be able to back-up the phone so they didn’t lose any photos or data. I looked at it and told her that unfortunately, the only option was to do a full erase/reset of the phone. In that case, the phone was still healthy enough to do the factory reset option that Apple provides, but sometimes you need a third-party option to fix iOS problems. TunesKit, a world-leading software developer, has created an iOS System Recovery tool for both Windows and Mac users.

DETAILS & FEATURES
TunesKit iOS System Recovery is an iOS repair tool that is dedicated to saving your iOS or tvOS device from different types of operating system failures. Some of those situations include iPhone recovery mode, white Apple logo, black screen, iPhone boot loop, iOS update failure, and other tvOS problems. TunesKit has created this software to prevent users from having to visit a technical specialist to correct these types of problems.
There are two main modes to use: Standard Mode and Advanced Mode. Standard Mode is used to recover iOS or tvOS products to ‘normal’ without losing any data. It’s recommended if you need to fix common issues like being stuck in recovery mode or frozen on a black screen. Advanced Mode is designed for more complicated problems and it does erase all data. This mode is recommended when the iOS device is ‘locked’ or ‘disabled.’

EXPERIENCE
TunesKit designed iOS System Recovery to be user-friendly and efficient for people to use. The software developers knew that by the time someone turns to iOS System Recovery they are already frustrated and just want a solution to their iOS problem. So, TunesKit developers made this app super easy to use. For the purposes of this review, I will discuss the Standard Mode. Launch the app and connect your iOS device using the proper cable. Wait until it’s detected before continuing. Once the app finds your device, you will select the mode you want to use and click “Next.”
At this point, you will select the model of device you are repairing and follow the on-screen instructions to put your device in recovery mode. The app will then download a firmware package to your device. Once the download is completed, you will click the “repair” button. The app will then automatically repair the device. NOTE: Keep your device connected to your computer until the repair process is complete. Once the repair is done, you should be able to use your device normally again. If you chose the Advanced Mode, you will need to set the device up again as a ‘new’ device.

At the time of writing this review, I did not have a device that needed to be repaired. I did, however, walk through the process up to the point of actually repairing the device. I found it to be very easy and painless. TunesKit makes this remarkably frustrating process simple by providing simple step-by-step instructions. You select an option for each screen you walk through and then move to the next step. There are additional options included with the app, too (iOS downgrade, fix iTunes errors, and 1-click to enter/exit recovery mode – Windows version).

CONCLUSION
While it can be very upsetting to discover a bricked iPhone, iPad, or non-operational Apple TV, there are options available like iOS System Recovery by TunesKit that can bring your devices back from the dead. iOS System Recovery does provide a free trial option for both Windows and Mac users. This app is a great tool to have in your kit for iOS and tvOS repairs.
