Find out why I detest these weapons in Call of Duty Mobile and why you should avoid them for an improved experience.
When it comes to Call of Duty Mobile (CODM), I am more than an average player. I play this game daily — and sometimes for hours on end. I find myself using all sorts of weapons and many of them have established their place in the game. There are some, however, that should have never been introduced into the game. In fact, the only reason I have used these guns is because I had to in order to level up the other weapons in my collection. Here are my top 3 choices for guns you should avoid in Call of Duty Mobile.

#1 D13 Sector
The D13 Sector belongs to the Launcher class of weapons and is designed as a secondary weapon. It is featured as a special weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops III as well as CODM. The D13 was originally released for COD: Black Ops III in October 2016 and in December 2021 for CODM. Originally, the D13 fired an exploding disc that travels for about 5 seconds through the air and has the ability to bounce off surfaces before detonating. In CODM, the D13 has been modified/nerfed from its original iteration. According to callofduty.fandom.com —
“The first nerf limits how many times it can bounce around in a map, now only being able to bounce three times before outright disappearing. The second nerf is the lack of an explosion. The third nerf is the progressive damage dropoff depending on how many people the disc has gone through, suffering a drop of 60 damage after it collides with one enemy, meaning an enemy hit behind the first enemy will suffer 40 damage. The fourth nerf is that every time the disc collides with an enemy, the disc will bounce off, though it has a chance to collide with an enemy behind the killed enemy.”
My opinion: This piece of dog dung is by far the worst weapon in this game to use. It’s even worse if you want to level it up to gold or diamond, as I have. It has one shot and is barely usable. I can say from using this terrible abomination that it was placed in the game to make you hate life.

#2 NA-45
The NA-45 is a sniper rifle that exists in both Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: Mobile. This rifle was added to CODM as a part of the Season 11 Anniversary update. It uses exploding rounds to defeat enemies -> the first round is a primer that acts as a tracker and the second round is the detonator. Therefore, you have to use two shots at an enemy in order to take them out. The projectiles cannot penetrate surfaces — they stick to whatever they are fired at AND if the two rounds are fired at different surfaces, an explosion will not occur. Even though the NA-45 has a fast-fired rate, it only carries two shots per mag. All of these factors make it a very difficult weapon to use let alone accomplish any tasks with.
My opinion: I struggled with whether or not to place the NA-45 as number one on my list. But, after a long pause, I remembered that I was able to achieve MVP in a match with the NA-45 in a multiplayer match against real people, whereas with the D-13, you are lucky to kill a bot with it. The NA-45 was placed in the game to make getting Damascus an absolute pain. Getting headshots is no big deal, but in order to get long shots, you have to get headshots as well, or they don’t count — even if you shoot someone from across the map. In addition to that, there is no documentation that states your longshots have to be headshots. That’s something I just figured out through experience. The devs in CODM must laugh each time someone picks up this trash gun.

#3 MSMC and Pharo
Third on my list of terrible weapons in CODM is actually a tie between the MSMC and the Pharo. Both weapons are classified as submachine guns and features in Call of Duty: Black Ops games prior to CODM. The MSMC (aka — Mini INSAS) does have the second highest fire rate of all the guns in the game and has high mobility, but its weighed down by a heavy vertical and horizontal recoil pattern. Even though it can kill fast at close range, it suffers from a lack of range overall as well as problematic recoil. The Pharo was added to CODM as part of the Season 2 update. It features a 4-round burst and has a high damage rate. Unfortunately, it has a ‘bouncy’ recoil which limits its effectiveness.
My opinion: With unmanageable recoil for long shots, these guns are not useful for long shots, nor are they fun to use. During my run for Damascus, I found these guns are the worst SMGs, and I could not wait to stop using them.
Conclusion
Choosing the right gun for Call of Duty Mobile is essential for success and enjoyable gameplay. These are just three of the worst weapons in the game and should be avoided based on their limited range, horrible recoil/handling, and limited mag volume. I find CODM much more enjoyable if you focus on guns like the DL Q33, which offers great performance and accuracy. I do suggest that you spend time trying the different guns out so that you can find a weapon setup that suits your play style best. I know there are some other really bad guns in CODM so tell me…what is your least favorite gun to use in the game?

The shorty shot gun is terrible
It is. But I have had better luck getting it diamond than the D-13 sector and the others listed in this roundup. I do agree it’s total trash as well. 🙂
