The Loop Cord Management tool is great for keeping earbuds in check.
I, like most people, have a love-hate relationship with earbuds. While I enjoy using them, I hate the tangled cable mess they ultimately cause. Apple tried to remedy this problem back in 2012 with the release of the EarPods with their very own carrying case. But, unfortunately, unless you are an expert at re-wrapping the EarPods, this doesn’t end up solving the problem. So, what are you to do? Fortunately, there are a few products in the market that are specially designed to remedy the earbud-tangle issue. One such product is The Loop.
The Loop is a simple plastic ring that is designed to keep your earbuds tangle-free. It’s design makes for quick, easy access and protects your earbuds from damage due to improper storage/handling. Thus, this nifty little product also increases your earbuds’ lifespan. About the same circumference as a standard bottle of water, The Loop is easy to carry with you anywhere.
We had the very unique experience of being able to use The Loop as one of our travel tools when we visited Las Vegas for CES. As we were to discover, The Loop can be a savior to some. What I mean by this is that one of our other writers said she liked The Loop and even though she had some issues with the earbuds slipping, she liked having it. Another one of our writers had a different experience. Even though he followed the instructions, he found that his earbuds kept falling out of the Loop. He still reported that his experience was that his earbuds were less tangled then just putting them in a pocket with no cable management tool.
Me personally? I had pretty good luck with them. I hate tangled earbuds and kept mine wrapped in the Loop for most of the trip. I did experience them slipping out once or twice myself, but it normally would be due to my rummaging around in my bag and something knocking them lose. Everyone it seems will have a different experience with them depending on how they are stored and how well they wrap the Earbuds cable.
The Loop is a necessity when it comes to preventing tangled cables. For me the frustration sets in when I start dealing with a rats nest caused by cable tangle. The Loop helps me keep my head on straight when trying to get my ear holes filled with music quickly. If you are using Earbuds then the Loop is for you.
