Classy, simple charging dock works with both Apple Watch and iPhone.
I am a fan of charging docks of all kinds. I especially think they are essential accessories for the Apple Watch. For those of you who don’t know, the Apple Watch comes packaged with a charging cable/puck, but no stand. This is somewhat problematic since it means you will just have to lay your watch on a flat, usually hard surface. Not too long after I received my Apple Watch, I began researching third party stands and found some rather nice ones. Then, I had a new problem – lack of table top space. The space taken up by my new watch stand and charging dock for my iPhone was just too great. So, I started looking into dual charging docks. With this review, I’m going to show you one of the more inexpensive options available – the Bamboo Dual Charging Dock from Teslasz.
This charging dock is a really nice option for charging and storing both your iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time. It’s got style and class and is very minimalistic. There is no set-up other than routing your charging cables through it. There is a cut out for the Apple Watch’s inductive charging puck and slots for cables to run through the stand easily. I did run into a small issue with the Apple Watch charging cable. The cut out for the puck isn’t quite big enough for the charging puck with the metal surround. It will fit, but you have to really force it into place. Other than that, I didn’t have any issues with set-up. It is entirely possible that I needed up with a unit that had a defect, but I felt I should mention it.
This is a really nice option for charging and storing both your iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time. I love its style and simple elegance. It retails for right around $12 and seems to be quite durable. The dock is classy and works with many different decor styles. Other than that one issue with the puck, this stand has proven to be a nice option for dual charging and storage.
