Ember Ceramic App Enabled Mug REVIEW


The Ember Ceramic Mug is a connected device that remotely adjusts to keep your beverage at your ideal temperature. The app allows you to select a personalized LED color and gives you the ability to choose and save your presets for different types of drinks. The mug ships with a charging coaster. It weighs approximately 0.75 pounds and is rated IPX7 (fully submersible underwater). The mug is not dishwasher or microwave safe and must be hand washed carefully. It will regulate a drink’s temperature between 120-145º.


The SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD is designed to leverage SanDisk’s in-house NVMe technology so that users have the fastest speeds possible (up to 1050 MB/s). The case is rugged (made with an aluminum body covered in silicon rubber) and protects its contents no matter where it goes. The SanDisk Pro Extreme has an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance and is shock-resistant up to 1500G. The SSD comes in three different capacities — 500GB, 1TB, or 2TB — and it’s compatible with Mac or PC computers.

Braven BRV-Mini Rugged Portable Speaker REVIEW


The BRV-MINI is a can-shaped rugged, portable speaker that produces an amazing sound. It is Braven’s smallest speaker to date. The ‘small but mighty’ speaker boasts a 12-hour playtime and is totally waterproof (rated IPX7). It features wireless pairing  meaning you can daisy chain two units together  and provides room-filling acoustics with 5W output and boosted bass from the integrated passive radiator. The speaker uses USB-C for charging and can also act as a speakerphone.


The Powerstation Wireless XL has a capacity of 10,000mAh. It is designed as a wireless portable battery and provides up to 18W of power delivery using the USB-C and Lightning ports. The Lightning port is actually an input/output port so it can be used to recharge the battery. In addition to charging devices wirelessly, the Powerstation can also be recharged on a wireless charger. The Powerstation is compatible with Qi wireless charging standards and will work with a variety of products including AirPods, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xs, iPhone XR, and iPhone X. The Powerstation supports pass-through charging, too. 


This new HyperDrive includes the same wide variety of expansion ports as the original model. In total there are 7 ports to use for connection to your laptop. Those ports include two (2) USB-A, one (1) SD card slot, one (1)  Micro SD card slot, one (1) HDMI, and two (2) USB-C ports (one capable of Thunderbolt 3 with 100W power delivery). These are the same ports that were included in the original HyperDrive, but the HDMI connection now supports 4K 60Hz HDMI. 


The Wacom One is a large format tablet that features a 13.3” screen.  It has the ability to connect to most computers (Mac or PC) and even some Android tablets and smartphones. The digital pen makes it possible to have the ‘real’ feel of writing when making edits, drawing, or annotating on documents. The Wacom One “feels like pen and paper and works like magic.” There is no need for batteries with the Wacom pen and the natural surface friction/minimal reflection screen makes it feel like you are writing on paper and not glass.


The Beamo lights are compact and rugged so they can be used at any time, anywhere you might be. They are travel-friendly and waterproof (up to 30 meters).
