The black finish is clean and modern while still fitting nicely into almost any atmosphere.

Installation.

User experience.
Let’s be honest here most people aren’t buying a 20-inch enclosed ceiling fan expecting to compete with a full sized open design ceiling fan, but what you’re getting here you are going to get should be more than enough relief in a small space and still adding some light in that space making installation and space saving a plus. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much air this unit moves for its size. Although it does seem to have a very direct flow, right under it you feel a lot of air movement but if you step a few feet to the side you can hardly feel it at all. In spaces like small bedrooms, offices, kitchens, and laundry rooms, the airflow feels adequate, but maybe a slightly blade design is what’s needed to really push that air out there.
The remote control is very easy to use and comes with a nice wall mount so that you don’t misplace it as it is the brains to your operation. On the remote you have a lot of valuable buttons, you get your standard on and off for your overall power or you can turn just the light on or off. you then have a selection of 1-6 for your fan speed and a dedicated off button, all very clear and easy to use. Below it you have forward and reverse, a sleep timer with a 1hr, 4hr, and a 8hr preset. Last but not least you find a speaker button that mutes the beep when pressing buttons and then a home button.
At lower speeds, the fan is virtually silent. Even at higher speeds, noise levels remain impressively low. Most of what you hear is moving air rather than motor noise, which is exactly what you want, if your one of those sleepers that wants a noisy fan for background, this isn’t it, this is more for those light sleepers that what minimal distractions when typing to sleep or operate your day to day.
Many of the budget fans develop rattles or vibrations over time, but so far this unit has remained stable and smooth during operation. I do like to give any parts I see once over as it’s just good practice for anything coming pre assembled.
The open cage design allows light to disperse effectively without creating harsh shadows. Depending on the bulbs you choose, you can customize the overall ambiance from warm farmhouse lighting to bright task-oriented illumination, I currently only have 2 of the 4 bulbs in place because I only had a high lumen bulb and that would have been overkill for the bedroom, coming with a set of bulbs would have been nice though, a nice warm soft glow would really fit the aesthetic. I personally appreciate being able to choose my own bulbs rather than being locked into a non-replaceable LED panel that may fail years down the road, just give me something to put in there when I install it haha if I had to say what I think the appropriate space for this fan would be is bedrooms, guest rooms, home offices, kitchens, dining areas, laundry rooms, entryways, and finished basements with smaller rooms.
The low-profile design is especially beneficial in homes with lower ceilings where traditional fans simply aren’t practical, and with the ball socket mount having an angled ceiling isn’t an issue, it will still hang nice and straight, and even comes with the options for drop lengths.
