Here’s a comprehensive review of its features, performance, and overall value, stay tuned and hopefully we can see if these are the new cool tech you wanted to add to your daily routine.
Design and Build Quality
The Pearl Clip Pro features a stylish and sleek design, with a pearl-like open-ear clip that sits comfortably on top of your ear. The earbuds are lightweight and come with a glossy finish that contrasts nicely with the matte finish of the flexible components. The earbuds are available in four colors, light purple, soft grey, muted gold and the only one that is currently available is a high gloss black color, which gives them a modern and elegant look.
Comfort and Fit
One of the standout features of the Pearl Clip Pro is its comfort and fit. The larger loops make for a more comfortable fit compared to similar designs, and the earbuds are designed to fit most ear sizes. The open-ear design ensures that you don’t have to insert the earbuds into your ear canal, which can be a relief for those who find traditional earbuds uncomfortable. The earbuds are also easy to put on and take off, making them convenient for on-the-go use.
Sound Quality
The Pearl Clip Pro delivers impressive sound quality for its price range. The 12mm dynamic drivers provide a rich and full sound with a healthy bass response. The sound is punchy and solid, making it suitable for both music and podcasts. The open-ear design creates a spacious and immersive listening experience, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings while enjoying your audio.
Battery Life and Charging
The Pearl Clip Pro offers a decent battery life, with up to 6 hours of continuous playback on a full charge. The charging case provides an additional 18 hours of battery life, giving you a total of 24 hours of listening time. The earbuds also support a quick charge feature, providing 2 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. The case uses a USB-C port for charging, which is convenient and modern.
App Features and Customization
The Pearl Clip Pro comes with the Peats Audio app, which is supposed to allow for extensive customization and equalization profiles. You can create your own EQ profiles or select from pre-fabricated ones designed for different musical genres. The app also offers gaming and movie modes, enhancing your audio experience for different activities. Additionally, you can modify the touch controls through the app, making it easy to customize your listening experience.
Microphone and Connectivity
The Pearl Clip Pro features built-in microphones for calls and voice commands. While the microphone quality is decent, it may not be the best for professional audio recording or editing. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a stable and reliable connection with your devices. Pairing the earbuds with your smartphone or other devices is straightforward and hassle-free.
User Experience
I have done a fair share of sound peats products by now and went into this unboxing with high hopes. And I am glad to tell you all that I was not disappointed when I opened the box, starting from the outside of the box they kept up with their clean and modern look giving you a taste of what’s awaiting you inside. Inside you will see your plastic wrapped extremely glossy case sitting comfortable in a hard preformed plastic shell.
Once I had them out of the box, I started to take off the protective stickers on the earbuds themselves, now that I had them out, I was ready to pair them to my phone. As soon as I pulled them out of the case and put them onto my ear, my phone had already found them, now on the chance that your phone doesn’t find them automatically then on the front of the case you will see a shiny silver textured button, pressing that will place your earbuds into pairing mode.
Now that you have them paired you are ready to rock and roll, no pun intended ha-ha. Sound peats have a very good app and I would strongly recommend using the adaptive EQ setting, this will help pair the best sound to fit your ears, and it is worth it. I have always been skeptical of the open earbuds and how they can deliver such good quality without being in your ear, well these sound peats pearl clip pros won’t disappoint you.
Cost and Availability
You can currently find them on Amazon for $59.99 or if you would prefer to go directly to their home page you can go to soundpeats.com and get them for the same price, $59.99.
Conclusion
Overall, the Sound PEATS Pearl Clip Pro is a solid choice for those looking for an affordable and comfortable open-ear earbud. While it may not be perfect in every aspect, it offers great value for its price and provides a unique listening experience. Whether you’re commuting, working out, or just enjoying your favorite tunes, the Pearl Clip Pro is a reliable companion and hopefully can help you achieve what you’re looking for in a pair of earbuds. As always thank you guys for reading and I hope I was able to help you on your quest for new earbuds!
