In my teens and 20’s I thought it was a waste of time to sleep. I still have that feeling but I no longer push myself to stay awake like I did when I was younger. I understand to be healthy I have to have a good night’s rest. Still, to this day I lay in bed and my mind is running a million miles a minute. One thing I have found to be helpful in getting me to a restful point is the Sound Oasis Advanced Sleep Sound Therapy System. It provides high-quality sounds that help to ease my restless mind and allow me to drift off to sleep.

USER EXPERIENCE

Unboxing was a simple process. The box is well-identified with a large picture of the product included on the front. You will find plenty of information on the box. When you open the box, you will find the sound machine, power cable with international plug adapters, and the instruction manual. The set-up of the sound machine was very easy. You simply plug it into a power source, set the clock and the alarm and you are ready to go.  With the Advanced Sleep Sound Therapy System, you have many different sounds to choose from and you have the option to set a timer, too. That way it doesn’t play all through the night.

Most products you have a pretty steep learning cover but the Sound Oasis Sleep System is very intuitive. I found it was easy to understand without looking at the instructions and after reading them I found I was correct on assuming that this was made to be a hassle-free experience. The buttons have a nice click to them so you can feel them as you press on them. The sound library is rich with wonderful sounds and you can easily add your own via a Micro SD card slot (card not provided). (Our choice for Micro SD Card for Sound Oasis)

CONCLUSION

I’ve been using the Sound Oasis Advanced Sleep Sound Therapy System for a couple of weeks now and have noticed that it is much easier to fall asleep with the soothing sounds of the machine. My fiance loves it, too. Sometimes after a long day at work, she has trouble relaxing, but I’ve noticed that within a few minutes of crawling into bed she is falling asleep. I can’t say she does the same thing without the sound machine.

This is a big part of my nightly routine now. Sound Oasis creates some wonderful products and this one follows suit with that. I turn on my Sleep Number DualTemp about 20 minutes before bed and at the same time, I turn on the Sound Oasis Sleep System. That way when I slide into my covers for the night I have no distractions. It makes for a great night sleep.
