A powerful punchy sound from lightweight Earphones

Over the past year, we have been seeing more and more companies coming out with “true wireless earphones.” They range in price from $30 up through $400-500. Something I would like to point out right away is in most cases the insanely expensive earbuds almost always outperformed the inexpensive models. In the case of the Soul Emotion, they don’t stack up to the higher end when it comes to features like touch controls or app-enabled options but they do hold their own when it comes to sound quality.

The Emotion earphones are designed to provide a superior high-performance listening experience in a budget package. They feature auto-pairing which means that they will be switched on and connected to each other automatically. They are in sync with smartphones via Bluetooth after the first time they are paired. The Emotion headphones have a built-in microphone and have a one-key button for multiple purposes like answering incoming calls and pausing music. The earphones are lightweight and ideal for active outings like cycling, camping, hiking, and jogging.

The Soul Emotion Earphones come packaged in a solid box with an image of the product printed on the cover. There are some basic information included about the headphones including the main features. When you open the box, you will see the case of the earbuds with the earbuds resting inside. The Micro USB charging cable is included inside along with additional ear tips and user guide. Getting started with the headphones is very easy. I love the auto-pairing feature as some true wireless earbuds make you pair the earpieces one by one. These headphones pair together and than show up as a single device in your Bluetooth menu. I never had any issues with the earpieces cutting in and out or the headphones disconnecting from my iPhone.

SOUL EMOTION True Wireless Earphones REVIEW

Because the headphones are so lightweight, the headphones were easy to wear and comfortable. Sometimes I run into an issue where headphones cause earaches when they don’t fit properly, but I didn’t have that issue at all with the Soul Emotion earphones. As for as a good experience for music listening, I can give them a great rating. Music was loud and clear and even though the bass was not as strong as some other earbuds I’ve used, the bass and treble were well-balanced. I felt like there was not too much or too little bass. I never felt like the headphones were hollow-sounding at all.

Even though I had a good experience with the music-listening, phone calls, on the other hand, did not sound as crisp as I would have liked. I could hear the person on the other end just fine, and the other party I was on the phone with was complaining of me sounding a bit tinny when talking with me. I also found it strange that the audio was only coming from my left ear and not both ears like with other wireless earphones.

SOUL EMOTION True Wireless Earphones REVIEW

When you take into consideration the price of these very affordable wireless earbuds and their above average sound quality, you really can’t complain. You are getting a great sounding set of earphones for music listening without the headache of sensitive touch controls that end up weighing earbuds down or making them much bigger. You get a sleek, easy to carry option for a great sound experience.
