Soaiy S-31 Bluetooth Handsfree Speakerphone is a simple solution for everyday use.
I do a lot more driving than most people do everyday. The down side is, well, the driving. I try to use this time constructively by returning missed calls I have received throughout the day. I have an aftermarket stereo that supports handsfree calling, but it doesn’t really do the trick and I find myself yelling so that people can hear me. I also have a handsfree headset that gets somewhat uncomfortable after extended period of time. I have been searching for a easy solution that lets me not yell (unless I need to), while still being comfortable.
Soaiy’s S-31 Bluetooth Handsfree Speakerphone handles my dilemma and then some. I have tried a few other handsfree speakers, with quite a bit of disappointment. The S-31 is only around 4 inches long and 2 inches wide making it unobtrusive to your views, even when the visor is flipped down. With a simple on/off switch on the side and three large buttons (two for volume and a call button) there isn’t much error while adjusting or answering calls. With a simple connection to your phone using Bluetooth, you are up and running.
I tried iPhone and Android to cover the major bases, will the same simple results, even after turning the unit on and off multiple times. You can connect two phones to the S-31 at the same time. This I very helpful when you have a work phone and a personal phone, or a passenger. The call quality was surprising good. I didn’t have to raise my voice to talk to the other person on the call and I didn’t experience any feedback either. I tried the GPS function on my phone and it worked perfectly. Before I had to listen to music and when a call came up, my music was auto muted while the sound kept playing. The S-31 allowed me to do both without sacrificing one or the other. Siri also works very well with the S-31, without any hiccups.
The battery life is the real MVP. I have used the S-31 everyday for a week and left it on and there is still a charge left on it. Soaiy boasts a 30-day standby battery life, and I can see this being true. It will shut off after a while by itself if there is no connectivity. So this greatly improves the battery life. Charging is simple with a micro USB port on the side. I just plugged it into my charging port overnight. There is a hanging cable included that you can run to it, but I prefer the less wires method. I do believe that this simple solution will be an item I use everyday for quite a long time.
