User Experience

Because I’ve spent years trying different footrests and leg support solutions, my expectations have been set pretty low for what a footrest could do for me. Given my experience with other Secretlab products, I expected that I might have better success with the OTTO.

Assembly only took a few minutes, and the premium build quality was obvious right away. The base is sturdy enough that it stays in place while still being easy to reposition when I need to adjust my seating position. Since it’s freestanding, I can move it independently of my chair, which gives me much more flexibility than footrests that attach directly to the chair.

The biggest difference for me is the support. Most footrests I’ve used primarily support my feet, leaving my calves and lower legs unsupported. The OTTO’s oversized PlushCell memory foam cushion allows me to elevate more of my legs, which makes a noticeable difference during long workdays. Instead of constantly shifting around to get comfortable, I found myself settling into a position and staying there much longer without discomfort.

The memory foam strikes an excellent balance between softness and support. It cushions my legs without feeling overly plush, and it doesn’t create uncomfortable pressure points even after several hours of use.
