Sabrent 10-port USB Rapid Charger provides a way to charge many devices at once.
USB charging is an everyday occurrence for me and usually ends with jockeying around plugs on a power strip and swapping out USB charging adapters. For quite some time I’ve wanted to seek out a multi-port USB charging hub and I found a good one with Sabrent.
Technology company, Sabrent, makes a really cool 10-port rapid charging USB hub. Now, when I think of a 10-port USB hub for charging I think of a big block that’s going to take up a ton of space on my desk. When I received the 10-Port Desktop USB Rapid Charger from Sabrent, I was shocked on how small it was. I hooked it up and then proceeded to find ten USB devices to charge simultaneously. When plugging the power to the hub a blue light will come on next to each designated USB port. This is so you can see where to place your USB cable in low light.
The neat thing about the 60 Watt (12 AMP) 10-Port Desktop USB Rapid Charger is you can power all your stuff at once with it. This would be good the night before a trip when you get all your stuff charged in one place. In most cases you won’t need to charge ten things at once, but having the little device on your desk to use at a moment’s notice is great. The hub utilizes smart port technology that maximizes compatibility with all your mobile devices. During the two hours I left my ten items charging, I continued to check the hub to see how it was handling heat – not once did it get hot, not even warm.
The 10-Port Desktop USB Rapid Charger is also great for travel. Even though it’s a 10-port hub, it is incredibly portable and could easily be carried on any flight without having to leave something behind due to lack of suitcase space. It’s also ideal for international travel because it has a AC 110-220V input voltage.
The one suggestion I would have for future developments of this device is the addition of some sort of rubber feet. I did not like that the Sabrent 10-Port Desktop USB Rapid Charger did not have any rubber feet on its bottom. This was a surprise as I would have thought some sort of rubber would be on the bottom to keep the hub from sliding around on your desk. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, but I would love to see future models include a rubber base or feet to prevent any damage to desktop surfaces.
I can highly recommend this 10-port hub from Sabrent. It aids in charging multiple devices at one time and even though that might cause for a bit of desk clutter when charging 10 devices at once, it’s a very handy device to have at your disposal. It has an MSRP of $44.99. It can be ordered by clicking the Amazon link below.
