The Rokform 30W Dual USB-C 12V Car Charger delivers reliable charging for two devices in a compact, rugged design that’s perfect for daily commutes and road trips.
This time around we are going to take a look at the Rokform 30-watt dual USB-C 12V car charger. Road trips or work commutes stand no chance against the new car charger they have out, and I don’t know about you, but my phone is my lifeline in more than one way. Between keeping up with work or family, and let’s be honest, we can’t survive without Facebook Marketplace, but those are an issue of the past. Now, as long as I remember to plug in, I have zero excuses, with 30 watts of on-the-go power at my disposal to keep my devices alive.
That’s where Rokform steps in again. Known for their rugged, no-nonsense accessories, they’ve got a 30W Dual USB-C 12V charger that’s clearly built with the finishing touches of a Rokform product, and just like their cases and mounts, it’s simple, solid, and does exactly what you need it to do, while doing exactly what it says it can do.
Design.
Right out of the box, the Rokform 30W Dual USB-C charger keeps things clean and low-profile. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t stick way out of your 12V socket, but still has the signature Rokform style, which I personally love because nothing looks worse than a bulky charger hanging out of your dash.
The best thing is how the build quality just feels solid too. I know it’s not something that will get abused, but to know it’s built to last and to last, no cheap plastic feels here. It’s got that same rugged, slightly overbuilt vibe Rokform is known for, without going over the top and being too bulky.
Performance.
This is where it actually matters. A charger can look great and handle being run over, but if it’s slow, then it’s useless. The 30W of combined power output means you get fast charging, especially for newer phones that support USB-C, and is even great for tablets too. I noticed right away that my phone was actually gaining battery even while running navigation and streaming music, which isn’t always the case with cheaper chargers.
You get two USB-C ports, both capable of fast charging, which is huge. Whether you’re charging your phone and a passenger’s phone, or maybe a phone and something like earbuds or a tablet, it handles it without feeling like it’s struggling.
Everyday Use.
I’d have to say that this is one of those products that you only want to buy once. A car charger should be something you can rely on, something you buy once and just forget about so that it is always there for you when you need it. Whether that means on your way to work or on long road trips, kids in the back needing their tablets charged, or maybe GPS killing your battery, being able to keep your phone or other devices charged is a must. With 30 watts, you are able to keep all your devices at 100% even with the most usage.
I personally keep this one in my wife’s car. She usually has the kids, so having the dual Type-C in the back seat has been a pleasant addition to the car, no more stealing her cords or kids fighting over who gets to use it first. Another thing about it that my kids seemed to really like was the backlighting. Although it’s simple and not color-changing, not only does it tell you when it’s plugged in, but the light shines through the USB-C ports, making it easy to see where to plug in when it’s dark in the car.
Price.
You can go directly to Rokform and pick this charger up for a low price of $19.99. 30W Dual USB-C 12V Car Charger | Rokform.com
Conclusion.
At the end of the day, the Rokform 30W Dual USB-C 12V charger is one of those accessories that just makes your life easier. Or your loved ones could use one; it would make a great gift as well. Best part about it, it’s a buy-once-have-forever kind of purchase.
It’s compact, well-built, and delivers the fast charging it promises. Not much to say other than you’re getting what you’re paying for, no questions on if it’s worth the money. In my opinion, it’s worth every penny! If you’re like me and already running Rokform gear, it fits right in. Even if you’re not, it’s still a great option that competes with the best of them out there and does exactly what it’s supposed to do while looking great too! Thank you so much for reading, and I hope I was able to help you in your search for a new car charger!
