Sometimes you just don’t have enough USB ports. In this day and age, everything connects through USB. So, what happens when you have something you need connected, but you are out of ports? The simplest answer is to connect a USB hub. One issue I’ve had with USB Hubs is that they end up adding one more thing you have to carry with you. Well, Sabrent created a Mini 4-Port USB Rotating Hub meant to be more portable than traditional desktop hubs.

This wonderful little USB Hub is handy to take with you anywhere. It attaches via a built-in USB connector so there are no additional cables needed. It’s very lightweight and you don’t have to worry about it weighing your laptop down. This USB hub is USB 2.0 compatible and supports transfer speeds up to 480Mbps. Plus, it’s reverse compatible to USB 1.1.

One very cool feature about Sabrent’s Mini 4-port USB Hub is that it rotates. The rotation covers 360 degrees. This can be very useful because you could use it horizontally or vertically depending on your space constraints with your work space. I prefer to use it horizontally because it is in line with my laptop that way.

The Mini 4-Port USB 2.0 Rotating Hub can be used with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8 and Mac OS X. I’ve actually used the hub with both operating systems and found it works very well. I must admit that I’m a little disappointed that it’s not USB 3.0, but have not found the speed difference has hindered me from the work that I’ve been doing. I mainly transfer smaller documents back and forth between computers.

If you are like me and have a lack of USB ports on your laptop, I can recommend this perfect little USB hub to help fill that space. For $5.99, it’s a bargain.
