Perfect gaming mouse that increases your performance and decreases your pain

I am no stranger to wrist pain that is associated with repetitive computer usage. When I was younger, I was really into computer gaming and then ended up with a job focused on computer work. Ever since seeing the RBTs Original Rebel at CES 2017 I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one to see if it really did make a difference ergonomically and increase click speed. RBTs Original Rebel just launched their Indiegogo campaign and I got a chance to demo it prior to the launch.

The thing that immediately caught my attention was the design. The overall appeal of this mouse very nicely designed with LED lights. RBT stands for “Right ‘Bove Touch” and that correlates to the raised base clicking feature and is what makes this mouse so unique. The way the Original Rebel has raised base clicking allows for the wrist to stay relaxed and instead of the force of clicking coming from your fingertips, you simply use the length of the finger. I also liked that on the sides of the mouse there are grip pads that add to the performance and comfort.

At first, it felt odd to be using a mouse built this way but it was very simple to adapt to. I put it to the test while doing online adaptive quizzing because that’s something I do that at some point my focus will shift to a dull pain in my wrist and fingers from constant repetitive clicking. After adapting to using the mouse I didn’t become distracted by a pain or feel the need to do light stretching of my right hand. After all the use that I put it through overtime I do not feel like I encountered any at all. It was also a nice break from typing and using fingertip force to using the Original Rebel. What I think will make the biggest difference in the long run for normal work use is the ability to switch up that repetitive motion. I don’t game anymore but I tried out the fact that you can get extremely fast click speed. That accompanied with the ergonomic benefits make this a standout product for gamers.

Overall I am excited to see where this will go and how it will eventually benefit using it for an extended period of time.
