Perfectly Clear perfects your photos with Just 1 click.
I would categorize myself as a proficient user of Photoshop. I know my way around and can complete a lot of client requests using that piece of software. But, I am by no means a Photoshop artist. There are many intricacies of Photoshop that I don’t know how to use or even know if they exist as an option within Photoshop. Athentech Imaging, Inc. has just released a plug-in for Photoshop and Lightroom that allows users to easily brighten and sharpen images while improving the efficiency of their workflow. It’s called Perfectly Clear 2.0.
Perfectly Clear 2.0 is the much anticipated update to an award-winning image correction software that provides 20 automatic corrections with one click. There are eight preset options that take a lot of the guess work out of intricate image correction. For example, the preset Beautify includes:
- Perfectly Smooth
- Blemish Removal
- Dark Circle Removal
- Shine Removal
- Face Slimming
- Eye Enhance
- Eye Enlarge
- Teeth Whitening
- Skin Tone
This is the first time that Beautify has been included with Perfectly Clear. It’s a very popular feature of the mobile version that has transitioned over to the plug-in version. The main features of Perfectly Clear includes:
- Faster—re-engineered algorithms deliver at nearly 2x the speed
- Our most powerful auto correction yet – new algorithms
- New noise engine removes noise even more accurately
- Next–generation Beautify gives you 10 ways to look your best
- Full resolution zoom lets you quickly zero-in and maintain incredible clarity
- Opacity slider lets you blend your before and after images to your preference
- Split View gives you more ways to see the correction (just like our mobile experience)
- Import / Export presets let you easily share presets with your friends
To use Perfectly Clear after installation, you simply load a photograph into Photoshop. Then, click on Filter menu. Athentech Imaging should be one of the options towards the bottom of the drop down menu. If you have more than one plug-in from Athentech, it will appear as a list. I only have Perfectly Clear, so that is the only option for me to choose. Once you select Perfectly Clear, your image will be opened inside another window within Photoshop. You have the ability to view your changes as you make them, side-by-side with your original image. This is a feature that I really appreciate as a Photoshop user.
As someone who is a frequent Photoshop user who does not usually use plug-ins, I found Perfectly Clear to be easily understood and a huge help to the images I was editing. Does it replace image correction by hand? No, but it does give any Photoshop artist a strong start and eliminates a lot of time from the touch-up equation.
Perfectly Clear 2.0 is a top-notch plug-in that is well-worth the purchase. Perfectly Clear is available starting today for $75 to existing users or $149 for new users. For more information, visit athentech.com.
