Nomad, a company dedicated to designing products that seamlessly integrate with the minimalist lifestyle, has launched a fundraising initiative to help reforestation efforts in the Amazon Rainforest while keep people charged. The Free Cable for the Planet promotion is live through NOMAD’s website. When a customer donates to the Carbon Fund and pays for shipping, they will receive a FREE lightning cable. All proceeds will be sent to Carbon Fund and NOMAD will make $0. Customers can choose how much they want to donate ($5, $10, or $25) directly through hellonomad.com.

About NOMAD

Nomad launched on Kickstarter in 2012 with their first product, ChargeCard, a portable USB cable the size and shape of a credit card. They haven’t stopped innovating in portable power since. Their new Apple Watch and iPhone products showcase the evolution of Nomad into a truly multi-category company, embracing many types of materials to reach their design goals. One thing that isn’t changing about them is their uncompromising commitment to absolute portability in designing essential tools for the modern Nomad.
