Today marked the first day of the GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013. The MWC combines the world’s largest exhibition and a conference of the mobile industry. Samsung Unveils Latest Galaxy Note

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 features an 8-inch screen, a reading mode that displays ebooks with an optimized resolution. It is powered by Android with a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and HSPA connectivity. It is slated to be available during the second quarter of 2013.

Sony Anticipating a Breakthrough Mobile Year

Sony Mobile is hoping to break back into the smartphone game in 2013. The Japenese based company announced the Xperia Z smartphone at CES last month, which is currently the best selling smartphone in Japan and is shipping worldwide.

Shazam Refresh for Tablets

The audio recognition app is being refreshed for tablet users to include a new home screen interface that features tags of TV shows and music and a chart of the most popular content.

GM to Include LTE
