Moshi USB-C Cables and Adapters are a great premium choice for USB-C accessory.
USB-C is not necessarily a new technology. It’s actually been around for quite some time, but it just recently became popular when Apple announced their new MacBooks last year. This was a revolutionary announcement because the only port on the computer is the USB-C port. It’s used for charging and data transfer alike – similar to the Lightning cable connection. Since that time, there have been other devices that have emerged with that same connection.
I had the privilege of testing out a Lenovo tablet not too long ago that featured a USB-C connection for data transfer. That unit still charged with a typical charging cable, but it was refreshing to come across a device that utilizes the technology since it seems to be so few and far between. One thing I can say for certain that is important no matter what type of connection you are looking for is a first rate, high quality cable. Moshi knows this is true, too and as such, has developed a line of USB-C cables and adapters to satisfy all the power and data transfer needs for USB-C devices.
USB-C to USB
This cable provides a standard outlet to USB (type A) from a USB-C female end. You can use this cable for charging or data transfer. It supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. The cable ends are reinforced with aluminum to reduce stress on the cable and ensure stability. The anodized aluminum also minimizes electromagnetic interference. It’s only 1 meter in length, which is perfect for life on the go. The USB-C to USB cable comes packaged with a handy cable management strap that makes it easy to store or transport.

This cable has the same anodized aluminum connectors that ensure support for the cable. The USB-C connector is reversible, which means you don’t have to worry about plugging it in upside down. The cable supports up to 60W of power output and USB 2.0 transfer speeds. This cable also comes packaged with a tiny Velcro cable strap, which helps you keep the cable neat and tidy. The USB-C charging cable is 2 meters in length, which is more than sufficient for charging most devices.
USB-C to HDMI
This adapter makes it possible to connect with an HDMI display or HD television. It supports 100P HD and 4K UHD video output at up to 60fps. Plus, it has a aluminum casing like the USB-C cables to minimize electromagnetic interference, which is monumental to a clear picture signal. The beauty of this adapter is that it’s plug-n-play and doesn’t require any drivers or software for it to work. The USB-C to HDMI adapter also does not require an external power source.
USB-C to VGA
If you use a regular VGA compatible monitor with your MacBook, or any other USB-C computer, this adapter will make it possible for you to send your display signal out to it. It transmits an 1080P HD video resolution at 60Hz (1920 x 1080). As is the same with the other Moshi cables and adapters, this one also sports anodized aluminum casings for strength and signal clarity. No drivers or software are needed with this adapter and you can use it as soon as you plug it in.

I am in awe of the time and effort that went in to the design of these cables and adapters. I especially love the aluminum being used for the casing to help with electromagnetic interference. That’s something I hadn’t considered before testing these connectors out. I’ve used many different types of adapters and connectors that are ‘cheap’ and not up to the standard of the Moshi cables and adapters. They are wonderful options for enhancing your USB-C accessories.
