Great to carry your smartphone and other daily essentials.
I’ve been a fan of handbags for a long time. So, it was only natural that when I really started taking a liking to technology products that my favorite accessories have been carrying cases and bags. There are a lot of different styles of bags out there and one of the most innovative technology bag designers out there is Moshi. As a company, Moshi prides themselves on creating modern designs with premium materials for the technology-minded individuals. Every season, Moshi releases new options for bags and this spring brings one of the most unique handbags I’ve seen in a long time — the Lula.
Moshi has created a one-of-a-kind handbag with Lula. As a part of its spring collection, Lula comes in two colors Savanna Beige and Olive Green. I went with the bolder Olive Green choice for my Lula bag. Moshi calls this a ‘nano bag’ or a mini handbag. They came into fashion a few years ago, but Moshi has provided their own exceptional twist on the traditional nano bag. For starters, the bag is lightweight (385 grams empty) and can be worn crossbody with the use of the included strap or carried by hand using the reinforced handles. Lula features shiny gold accent pieces and has a structured silhouette that keeps its shape when it is set down.
Lula measures 9.45″ x 3.35″ x 6.3″ and Moshi boasts that an iPad Mini (8″ x 0.24″ x 5.3″) will fit inside. Aside from being large enough to fit an iPad Mini, the main compartment is large enough for essential items like a wallet, keys, and some other small items. Plus, the inner pocket is an RFID pocket to help protect your personal data from theft. The bag is crafted with a combination of high-resilience polyester and PU leather. It’s been treated to be splash-repellant and can be cleaned with leather cleaners.
Being that I am technically a ‘bag lady,’ I have had bags of all sizes and shapes. This is my first foray into the nano bag, but I really like it. On a typical day, I carry a laptop backpack to work, which has plenty of room for my larger items, but I still like to have a handbag for meetings and outings like lunch or doctors appointments. Before I made the switch to the Lula bag, I was carrying around a big black tote bag. This bag didn’t really have much to do with technology, but it held a lot of items. I was surprised to find that the same amount of stuff fit into the Lula bag. I, unfortunately, did not have an iPad Mini to try out in the Lula bag. Based on the dimensions of the bag and the iPad Mini, I would think it would fit just fine, but I wasn’t actually able to test that out. I did, however, love the outer pocket of the bag because my iPhone 7 fit quite nicely into it. I keep my iPhone in a slim wallet case and still did not have a problem with the phone fitting in there.
The Lula bag is a really nice universal, carry-all bag. It’s a great option for accessorizing your outfit and other technological devices. I really like how the bag is a nice compliment to larger bags and can be used for many different occasions.
