Photography has changed a lot in the past few years. Gone are the days of stand alone cameras of all shapes and sizes. Now most of us have a smartphone that meets more criteria than most need. Having this in your pocket or hand at all times means that everybody can capture every moment of their lives, but at the cost of mediocre photos and video clips. Smartphone cameras are quite useful and very capable, but they won’t fill the news of the inner photographer that we all could be.

All of the lenses are screwed into a simple clip that goes directly over the existing camera system of almost any smart phone or tablet, making initial set up simple and quick. The one down side to the clip is that it is arms are long making it awkward looking on an iPhone. It is meant to fit most devices. The iPhone’s camera is on the corner of the phone so the clip does stick out a bit from the phone. A few Android devices have the camera in the middle so the clip does take up some valuable screen space. This trade off is well wort a bit of screen space to me. Our phone screen is our view finder, but after a bit of adjustment I got used to it quick on my Android device. The iPhone was a cinch, the only draw back was it sticks up or out to the side.
With the clip being universal, I quickly embraced this. Another downside is that it will most likely cover your flash on your smart phone and it doesn’t have a wide gap between the clip making using this system and a case next to impossible. The clip and lenses can be flipped around and used on the front facing camera, stepping up your selfie game. Once again the trade off is worth taking your phone out of a bulky protective case for a bit. Since you will have the phone in your hand to use the camera it will not make that big of a difference to most people. Screwing in the separate lenses keeps the lens very secure.
We tend to get a good quality photo with the standard lens built in to our phones but there is more to the world that a flat standard phone picture. All of the lenses are made with an aluminum case thy can stand the usual wear and tear that they are most likely going to see and also have lens covers for every lens, protecting them from scratches.
