In November, Mailbutler developers have focused their updates on improving existing features.
Autumn is here, and Mailbutler is back with another product release! The update started rolling out earlier this week (November 8) so, remember to check for updates so you don’t miss out on these enhanced features.
Revamped filters and sorting
Mailbutler’s sorting options have been the same for a while now, but no longer! The filters system has received a complete overhaul, with all options being combined in one place. Most excitingly, Mailbutler added the ability to filter many more different items in the Dashboard, and they’ve implemented a global search function so you can always find exactly what you’re looking for.
More Send Later improvements
Mailbutler made some big improvements to Send Later last release, and we’re continuing this trend this month! Send Later has now been renamed Smart Send Later. On top of this, in Apple Mail, they’ve made some improvements to the user experience when you’re in your inbox and made it easier to find their Smart Send Later button.
Contact sharing
Lastly, Mailbutler made some changes to the Contacts feature to make your life easier. Rather than having to share individual information about a contact, you can now share the whole contact in one go. This means you can easily keep your team up to date with any new information about a customer or client.

How to Check for Updates
If you aren’t sure how to check for updates, here are some simple instructions. First, open Apple Mail and then click on your Mailbutler sidebar toggle to show the Mailbutler settings.

Then, click on the gear button to reveal the Account & Preferences panel. There is a line of information directly under your user name that lists the version of Mailbutler you are currently running. Below that is a button that reads Check for Updates.

Click on the Check for Updates button and a dialogue box will appear letting you know if an update is available or if you are current. You will see from my screenshots that the update isn’t yet available for my account because the dialogue box shows me up-to-date but it’s not the latest version, which is 5808.
