HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY TO US!
We have come a long way since the first review here on MacSources. Starting out, it was just me writing reviews because I wanted to give more focus to products and applications instead of rumors of things that hadn’t hit the market yet. I always felt that some other technology sites I would visit left out so much when it came to great apps and fantastic gear. After starting MacSources, Robyn joined me on the journey of writing daily reviews that went from one review per day due to our everyday jobs outside of MacSources, to multiple reviews per day. We are very fortunate to have grown in such a way that we now have SEVEN writers including Robyn and myself – and we are hoping to add an eighth very soon.
Lately, the reviews on MacSources have been focusing on many small accessories that are inexpensive and easy to use for people in everyday life. Because of the popularity of these reviews, we recently started a new section called the Helpful Home. It focuses on gadgets for the home that are designed to make life simpler.
Our main focus is and will always be on developers – the designers behind the awesome iOS and OS X apps that everyone uses. Finding and promoting amazing apps that truly bring a smile to your face or make tasks more manageable is one of our main missions.
MacSources is something I love and always want to do. It’s been my passion for the past three years and I’m looking forward to the next three years and beyond. It’s been a learning experience and an enjoyable one.
I have to thank all of our readers, subscribers, commenters, and social media followers. Without the readers we would not be able to continue doing what we love.
I must also thank Robyn and all of our team writers – Rebecca, Roger, Travis, Brian, and DJ. Thanks to you, we have been able to push out more content and give our audience a better reading experience.
I would also like to thank Kacey Coughlin who has also been a contributor to MacSources. She has been a live Tweeter from inside Apple’s WWDC for us and has provided some memorable, well-written posts.
Because we are a smaller tech review site, there are lots of things we can’t cover due to travel costs, but we are working to develop more options for live event coverage.
I hope to continue to bring great reviews to our readers for many more years to come. Thank you all.
