I want to put a ding in the universe. – Steve Jobs
Quite some time ago, I found myself wanting to build something that would surpass my life. I want to have an impact on the world around me. This feeling is what caused me to learn how to create websites and from that passion, MacSources was born. It was just a short time ago — the blink of an eye really — that I sat down with Robyn and we planned out our first posts. Our mission has remained true — to provide up-to-date news and worthwhile reviews on technology products and apps. Over the past couple of years, we have been able to expand our writing team and believe in the content we provide to you, the reader. We strive to create articles that are substantial in content and not just based on rumors in the technology world. We are independently owned and operated. No larger corporation funds us or tells us what to write about. We write about technology because it’s what we love to do.
Last year, I composed a post about who we are in celebration of our birthday. This year, I wanted to spend time thanking our readers. Without you, we would not be able to continue doing what we love — writing about tech products. This is my dream and I’m able to live it because you take the time to read our articles, make comments about products you like, and watch our videos on YouTube and Vimeo. It’s been a labor of love the past five years and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue writing about products and apps we find interesting hopefully for years to come.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I thank our writers, our readers, the public relations teams, and all the wonderful developers and companies who put out amazing apps and products. You’ve made my dreams a reality.
Happy Birthday, MacSources!
