Localscope releases update to version 4.2.
Localscope by Cynapse is a location browser for iOS. It works with all the major social networking services – Google Maps, Google+ Local, Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, iOS Reminders, Instagram, Panoramio, Flickr, Picasa, Wikimapia, Wikipedia, Factual, Citysearch, Yelp, 2GIS, Zomato, Baidu, Yellow Pages Austrailia and ParkMe – to ensure you are as connected to the world around you as you possibly can be. The best feature of Localscope is “Search Locally,” which allows users to be able to see requested places like restaurants, that are close to their current location.
On Tuesday, April 29, Cynapse released an update to version 4.2. The newest version of the location search and discovery app has a much cleaner interface completed with a polish Dashboard and search results that are easier to review. Images and video thumbnails have been made smaller to place more emphasis on the places they are referring to. Localscope also has support for 28 regional apps from Sygic, a popular GPS navigation service.
To celebrate this update, Cynapse is offering Localscope on sale in the App Store for $1.99 – 33% off its regular retail price. This is only available until Friday, May 2nd.
