Koogeek Smart Scale Body Analyzer provides good data for analyzing personal health.
Several years ago, I made a lifestyle change. I was eating healthy, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of sleep. Unfortunately, that trend did not hold for me. But, at that time I was trying to track my weight loss/gain along with other body measurements. So, I had a weekly weigh-in ritual. It involved stepping on a scale on Monday mornings. I had kind of a beat-up old digital scale. It worked, but didn’t have any bells and whistles other than a digital display. Now a days, there are a lot of other options out there when it comes to weighing yourself. It is actually more of an analysis of your body then simply a weight number. There are a lot of ‘smart’ scales out there that track weight, BMI, and other figures. One such scale is the Koogeek Smart Scale Body Analyzer.
First of all, I want to say that this is an affordable option to some of the others in the market. I wanted to stress that because some of the smart scales out there are completely unattainable for the average person. This scale is less than $100 and works very well with its mobile app (I tested my scale with an iPhone 6). So, what can this wonderful smart device do for you? As I mentioned above the Koogeek Smart Scale Body Analyzer pulls data from several areas of your body that give you a total big picture view of yourself. It measuresL
- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- Body Fat Mass
- Lean Mass
- Bone Mass
- Total Body Water
- BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
- Visceral Fat
The scale communicates to your smart phone through Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity. I had a little trouble connecting at first, but quickly discovered the issue and once I reset the scale (the button is located in the battery panel), I was connected to our home WiFi within about 2 minutes or so. The Koogeek Smart Scale Body Analyzer has a very easy to use app that records data from up to 16 different users. I only have my set for one, but it syncs data flawlessly. My fiancé actually stepped on the scale without me knowing it and the app recorded his information as mine. There really wasn’t anything wrong with that – in fact it gave me some interesting data for this product test.
Perhaps one of the coolest features of the Koogeek Smart Scale Body Analyzer is the baby weighing function. I didn’t not have a baby to test this with, but think it’s great that the scale is smart enough to recognize a baby from its mother. Basically, a parent steps on the scale first and get a reading on you weight. Then, you hold the baby and the scale will determine the baby’s weight.
The Koogeek Smart Scale Body Analyzer is a nice option for smart scale. It’s affordable, very easy to use and the app is solid. It doesn’t have a lot of complicated data analysis; it just shows you what you want to know. This is a good product to keep in mind if you are in the market for a smart scale.
