Keeper has a clean, easy to follow layout and interface. The developer provides a lot of documentation for set-up and the only 'issue' I have with the service is the annual fee. It's a necessity for keeping the app system secure and up to date, but I do wish there was a better option for a service like this.

Enhance security on Apple Vision Pro with Keeper Password Manager. Store, generate, and auto-fill passwords seamlessly!
I’ve been using a password manager for more than a decade now and I can’t tell you how much easier it makes using a computer. I used to worry about not having a secure enough password since I, like so many others, would end up using a personal ‘default’ password to sign into online accounts. This can be a huge security risk and having a password manager has helped me keep my accounts organized as well as strengthen my passwords.
Since I’ve been an avid user of password managers for quite some time now, I’ve seen them evolve and have seen the offerings change. When I acquired my Apple Vision Pro, I really took note of which services were offering exclusive compatibility for that device and Keeper provided the best option for me.

The Importance of a Password Manager
I can’t stress the importance of using a password manager enough. So, before I get into why Keeper is a great option for Apple Vision Pro users, here are some vital reasons why you should have a password manager at your disposal.
- Organization of accounts. A password manager serves as a secure vault for storing and managing unique, strong passwords for each account, alleviating the need for individuals to memorize multiple login credentials.
- Unique credentials. With rampant cyber threats like phishing attacks and data breaches, using the same password across multiple accounts poses a significant risk, as compromising one account can potentially lead to unauthorized access to others. A password manager mitigates this risk by generating and storing complex passwords, ensuring each account is protected with unique credentials.
- Security enhancements. A password manager enhances security by encrypting stored passwords, and safeguarding them from unauthorized access.
- Streamlined login process. By centralizing password management, these tools not only enhance security but also streamline the login process, saving time and reducing the likelihood of human error.

What is Keeper?
Keeper is a highly secure password manager designed to help individuals and businesses safeguard their digital identities and sensitive information. It offers a comprehensive suite of features tailored to meet the diverse needs of users across various platforms, including web browsers, mobile devices, and desktop applications. Keeper allows users to securely store and manage their passwords, credit card details, and other sensitive data in an encrypted vault, accessible only with a master password or biometric authentication.
It employs advanced encryption algorithms to protect stored information, ensuring confidentiality and integrity. Keeper also facilitates password generation, enabling users to create strong, unique passwords for each account. Additionally, it provides secure password-sharing and collaboration features for teams, along with multi-factor authentication options for enhanced security. With its user-friendly interface and robust security features, Keeper is a trusted solution for individuals and organizations seeking to safeguard their digital assets in today’s increasingly complex and interconnected world.
In February, Keeper Security added the Apple Vision Pro to its list of compatible devices/systems as it recognized the need for seamless access to content on the spatial computer.

“Apple Vision Pro has ushered in a new era of computing along with a fresh approach to how people interact with technology,” said Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-Founder of Keeper Security. “Keeper is thrilled to be a part of this by providing a seamless, secure and encrypted login experience through our Apple Vision Pro-compatible app.”
Keeper is built with Zero-Knowledge security architecture, which means that all of a user’s data that is stored in Keeper’s cloud is fully encrypted and only accessible by the user. The service is compatible with Two-Factor Authentication providers like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo, RSA, and YubiKey. Keeper is the only SOC-2 and ISO27001-certified password manager in the industry and it utilizes AES-256-bit encryption, Elliptic Curve, and PDKDF2 technology.
According to the App Store, the only information that might be accessible by Callpod, Inc. (the developer) is data linked to the user such as contact info or identifiers. To read Keeper’s full privacy policy, click here.

User Experience
Keeper’s setup in the Apple Vision Pro is simple. You visit the App Store while wearing the device and download the Keeper app to the Apple Vision Pro. Once you open it, you will log into the app using your master password and all your accounts/logins will be available for use within visionOS.
I find Keeper to be incredibly easy to use. Before I installed the app on my Vision Pro, I exported my password data from another app with the intention of importing it into Keeper. I felt that by doing it this way I would ensure consistency across products and devices. Most password managers only allow you to import from a CSV or similar file. Keeper, however, provides users with the option of importing directly from another password manager. There are import instructions included in the Web Vault & Desktop App user guide within Keeper’s documentation. Here is a list of password managers that Keeper can import from:
- LastPass
- 1Password
- Dashlane
- Bitwarden
- EnPass
- Kaspersky
- KeePass encrypted .kdbx files
- KeePass
- KeePassX
- LastPass
- MacPass
- mSecure
- Password Boss
- Passopolis – No longer available
- Passpack
- RoboForm
- SplashID
- Sticky Password
- True Key
- ZOHO
- Avast

One of the things I truly appreciate about Keeper is the ability to add notes and custom fields to records. One of my screenshots shows all the fields available when you create a new record and Custom Field and Notes are at the bottom. I’ve found this very useful to capture information about certain accounts such as billing dates or registration keys for software.
You will also notice a screenshot that includes the Keeper permission screen for the Vision Pro. It reads:
Allow “Keeper” to access the Persona virtual camera? Camera is used to store photos or videos to your encrypted Keeper vault, and to scan time-based one time passwords (TOTP) to protect your websites and applications. Files stored to Keeper records are encrypted, backed up and can be shared with other users from vault-to-vault. Allow | Don’t Allow
This permission is similar to allowing Face ID or TouchID to act as your proxy for filling in a Master Password every time you want your password manager to fill in data for you. I accepted it, but it’s really up to each user about whether or not they want to take advantage of it. In my opinion, the Apple Vision Pro is a pretty secure system since it only allows one user at a time and in my testing, I’ve been the only one who has been able to access the main AVP interface.

Since nearly every activity I utilize on my devices is account/login-based, I’ve used Keeper frequently daily. Any issues I’ve experienced aren’t necessarily centered around Keeper, but rather around the Vision Pro’s ability to detect my eye movements accurately. While it’s very precise most of the time, there is about 10% of the time that mistakes are made and an action happens that I didn’t intend to happen.
In addition to the AVP, I’ve been using Keeper as my main password manager on my iPhone 15 Pro Max as well. I’ve found it to be reliable and haven’t had any issues with it. One of the features I enjoy is the ability to change the theme of the app within specific color-based presets. I thought this was a nice, personalized touch that Keeper included and it’s not something you see often with security apps.

Conclusion
Keeper stands out as a top-tier password manager, offering a comprehensive suite of features that prioritize security, convenience, and user-friendliness. With its robust encryption, intuitive interface, and multi-platform accessibility, Keeper provides peace of mind for individuals and businesses alike, ensuring their sensitive information remains protected from cyber threats. I love that they felt the need to provide a specific app experience for the Apple Vision Pro and their attention to detail — especially when it comes to data imports. Whether you’re looking to streamline password management, securely share credentials with team members, or generate strong, unique passwords, Keeper excels in delivering a seamless and secure solution.
