Take a first look at the iPhone 7.
When the iPhone 7 announcement was made less than 10 days ago, I knew it was time for an upgrade. A lot of people will see the iPhone 6/6s side by side with the iPhone 7 and swear it’s the same phone. But what people need to realize is that this is definitely a case where it’s what inside that counts. I’m coming into this new phone after having my iPhone 6 for two years. I did upgrade to iOS 10 just a few days ago and while I really like the features, I’ve been experiencing a lot of glitches. So, the iPhone 7 is a going to be a really nice power boost for me.
I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get my iPhone pre-ordered on September 9 and delivered today on launch day. I chose the iPhone 7 because I the size suits my lifestyle. I’m sure that I would benefit from the larger screen and more advanced camera system on the iPhone 7 Plus, but during my everyday use, it’s just too much for me. So, the 4.7-inch screen on the iPhone 7 is ideal for me. After making the decision on the model to order, I had to weigh my options for the color. I have been a fan of the Space Gray color for quite some time now, but Apple’s choice to eliminate that from the color palette of iPhones forced me to choose a new shade for the device. I decided on the Black because of its matte finish and awesome silhouette.
Finally the last choice to make was size. For me, I tend to go with the smallest capacity iPhone because I don’t like the price hike that comes with the larger options. That being said, I’m glad that the base model is now 32GB because I will not get that annoying “no more room” warning as often. Today, we picked up my iPhone from UPS and brought it home to set-up.
