iPhone 6/6 Plus pre-order experience delays.

IMG_3097iPhone 6 and 6 Plus orders began very early this morning at 12:00 a.m. PST, which is 2:00 a.m. CDT. One of our writers experienced some difficulties in placing his pre-order because Apple’s online store was not operational. He was, however, able to place his order through Verizon, our wireless provider, and by 3:00 a.m., he said that the Apple Store was still offline. He ordered an iPhone 6 Plus, which is now experiencing a 3-4 week wait time (as of 8:00 a.m. CDT). The iPhone 6 is still available for pre-order. Apparently, all carriers – AT&T, Spring, Verizon and T-Mobile all experienced delays at the onset of the pre-order sale. Sprint’s online store was still down at 8:00 a.m. (CDT). As of this post, it appears that all online stores that are offering pre-orders are operational.
