Setup and Usage
Setting up the dock was incredibly simple; it’s plug-and-play with no software updates or installations required. Upon plugging it in, I quickly connected the HDMI to my monitor, enabling me to mirror my iPad’s display. There was no lag or latency during use, allowing me to play mobile games for several hours. I could even charge my iPad simultaneously with the dock.
Unfortunately, the dock only has one USB C port, which is dedicated solely to charging with no data transfer capabilities. This limitation means you cannot connect any devices to it, which is disappointing. However, having the option to charge while using an 8K monitor almost outweighs this drawback. I was able to connect a mouse and keyboard while using the HDMI port and charging my iPad at the same time, which was a significant advantage. After using it, I was easily able to store the dock in my backpack for travel, as it takes up very little space.

Conclusion
At $69.95, the dock is on the higher end of the pricing scale compared to other USB docks. Given this price point, I would have liked to see one or two additional USB C ports. It’s disappointing to have only one port that is exclusively for charging. That said, the dock delivers on its promises, featuring two HDMI ports with 8K resolution, and it can be used in conjunction with software to enable triple displays (a MacBook and two external monitors).
Overall, while this price point makes it difficult for me to wholeheartedly recommend it, if budget constraints are not a concern, this dock is a strong contender and comes with a one-year warranty as well.
