iMazing announces the release of this latest update that comes with an overhauled Music section.
With the public beta of iOS 16 and macOS Ventura anticipated to release in July, the team at DigiDNA has been hard at work ensuring that iMazing is fully compatible with both systems. They are happy to announce that compatibility has been confirmed with their latest version: iMazing 2.15.6. In fact, the only feature of iOS 16 that iMazing does not yet fully support is the new paradigm for edited and deleted iMessages. DigiDNA expects to fully support this before the iOS 16 public beta is released.
In addition to the new OS compatibility, iMazing also has an updated Music section that now has a built-in player along with some other improvements that make transferring and listening to your music easier than ever. Read more about the improvements to the first feature that put us on the map here.
If you’re considering installing the iOS 16 beta, keep in mind that installing it on your primary/personal device is discouraged by Apple, and strictly at your own risk. So back up your device before you take the plunge.
It’s highly recommended that users create a full, local backup of their device. If your computer doesn’t have enough drive space to support a full backup, you can use iMazing to point your backup to an external drive. Backing up your device is one of iMazing’s many free features!
- All of iMazing’s Backup features are 100% free to use forever
- iMazing supports backup snapshots (different versions over time, like Time Machine—ideal for beta use)
- Backups can easily be performed or moved to external media or NAS if you’re low on drive space
- Backups can run automatically in the background, over Wi-Fi or USB
