Apple’s annual conference for developers kicks off at 10 a.m. PDT.
Every year, Apple gathers its stakeholders for their annual WWDC Keynote address. The event is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT) and can be viewed through Apple’s live video stream. This discussed usually acts as the official announcement of upcoming software innovations and some new products. CEO, Tim Cook, typically serves as the MC and several other Apple executives fill in with their areas of expertise. The keynote will likely run for about two hours.
In order to watch the live video of the event, you must have the following:
- A Mac on OS X 10.8.5 or later, running Safari 6.0.5 or later
- An iPad, iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later
- A 4th generation Apple TV, or a 2nd or 3rd generation one running 6.2 or later
- A Windows PC running Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge browser
Any device needs to be compatible with the HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology.
