What we have here is the FlexiSpot E7 Pro standing desk, a desk that might look like just

do whatever takes that’s at hand with ease. So, let’s picture you’re just waking up and really
need to send out some emails before breakfast. Then go ahead and take a seat and enjoy

The main reason I became interested in this FlexiSpot E7 Pro was because of my wife, to be

Now I’m sure there are some hobbyists out there who enjoy things like building models,

User Experience

The E7 Pro base itself is honestly very well built and was extremely easy to put together, unlike other brands out there on the market today you won’t find yourself with some cheap lightweight Aluminum, you will find an acclaimed automotive class steel to help give you the strength and stability you are looking for out of standing desk. Let’s get into the unboxing! Like all of my experience with Flexispot, I am sure to find they have protected their product with foam and cardboard, giving you a double layer of protection, and no they don’t get tossed in the box. They layer each individual piece so that it sits next to something of similar sizes allowing less waste and more ability to keep things separated and secured with multiple layers of foam.

When opening your product for the first time you’ll always want to make sure you have all your parts and pieces, so I like to take everything out and lay them all out and take a look at the manual to make sure I’m not missing anything. I personally have had to contact support via email and they have always been good at responding and making sure that whatever is damaged or missing is replaced, so let’s give them a chance to correct an error before we get too upset, at the end of the day everyone makes mistakes, it’s what people to do correct them should matter.

So now once you’re done organizing let’s start assembling! I will have to say I appreciate the tool that they supplied with this desk; it really was nice to help put things together without being just a small Allen key or cheap screwdriver. Putting this together was actually really easy! The directions are very clear and easy to intrepid, one thing I can say is that if you didn’t wait for your top and put them together separately, the set screws to set the width of the base can be left loose that way when your top arrives all you have to do is spread them out to fit your desire top!

One thing I wasn’t able to utilize with the top I ordered was the cable management tray that came with the base, maybe it was a fluke or the gaming series top uses a different setup, I am unsure, I personally was going a different route so I didn’t worry about it too much. I’m sure if you got a small drill bit you could add the holes if needed and just screw it up there. That being said, I am extremely impressed with the overall look and feel of the desk, and the color pattern of the gaming series that Metallic Flake they added to it to help with laser mouse precision looks really clean, especially with RGB lights.

The top is extremely smooth and the curved center for your arms when on the keyboard for a long amount of time is a lifesaver, no more pressing your forearms into the corner of a desk! Once together you will see that the control panel has 4 settings and a manual up and down button with an LCD to allow you to set your desired height with pinpoint accuracy. But don’t forget about the USB port that they gave you on the side of it.

Two of the settings are preset to make the table go all the way down and all the way up, whereas where the other two are there for you to set to whatever height you want to be able to easily find again in the future with just the touch of the button. One of my favorite features of being a father with 2 young kids and a dog that loves to be under your feet at all times has to be the auto stop and raise safety.

The desk has a feature that tells the motors to stop going down and bring themselves back up two inches to give you room in order to safely take out whatever you accidentally squished. From the all-the-way down positioning the desk takes approximately 17 seconds to raise all the way up from 25” to 50.6”, Wow that’s fast! One more great fact about this desk is that it has a 15-year warranty on the frame, motor, controller, and all electronics. Most of the tops have a 2-year warranty and the bamboo has a 5-year. Overall conclusion

Now that I have this desk all put together and the top on it, I am extremely happy with honestly everything about it. From just looking at it you can tell it’s a very well-built solid desk, and then once you go to move it, and dang! It’s a beast! Absolutely a two-person move! I love the ability to change the height to whatever I want, my kids have always had to pull the lever to bring the chairs up to reach the old desk now I can bring the desk down to them.
