As I previously mentioned, Facetune is very easy to use. To start, you simply load a photo and then you select an editing tool. Then, you use your finger to swipe across the areas of the photo that you are editing. When I tested this app, I used one of the sample photos included and smoothed out the subject’s skin, whitened her teeth and removed some skin blemishes. The finished product looks much closer to a magazine headshot than a selfie.
My favorite feature of this app is the instant comparison option. There is a small icon in the corner that you can click on while you are editing to toggle between the original and the edited photo. It’s very useful and you can see exactly what has been done.
When you are finished with your photo, you can instantly share it with your friends and family through social media or email.
I think that Facetune is an app that everyone should have on their phone. It comes in very handy when you are perfecting your photos.
