Stand provides a great way to charge while you travel.
When I first got my Apple Watch a little over a year ago, I only disliked one thing – charging on a table top. The watch did not ship with a charging stand and I found that it was something that was horribly missing. Apple didn’t release one right away and so the third party product designers stepped in. In the months that have followed the Apple Watch’s release, I have seen many stand designs be released. Some of them work very well and other fall very short of expectations. I’ve been able to test out many styles and one constant remains – none of them are the ideal travel option for charging an Apple Watch.
The Foldable Apple Watch Charging Stand by Eleclover solves this travel problem for me. This elegantly designed stand folds up to be the size of a credit card and can go with you anywhere. It’s adjustable and can be set up for any viewing option you wish for your watch. The stand is made out of aluminum, which makes it both durable and lightweight. It only weighs 35 ounces (a fraction of what the iPhone weighs). There is soft black silicone ring on the inset of where the watch rests. This helps to keep the watch body safe and free from scratches and dings.
The only downside to the charging stand is that you have to provide your own charging cable. It’s one of the limitations that Apple still has in place for designing charging docks and stands for the watch – no integrated charging cable. Fortunately, Eleclover makes it very easy to swap your cable in and out of the stand. There is a soft velvet-like carrying pouch for the stand and a cable can slide into the bag with it. I would recommend using the shorter charging cable, though.
The foldable charging stand for the Apple Watch is extremely well-made and is well-suited for long trips. Because of its compact design, it can fit nearly anywhere. It’s the perfect option for charging your watch on an elevated surface.
