eeco Power Bank provides a premium high capacity power bank with super-fast charging.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve found nearly unlimited uses for my power banks. It’s a little hard to believe that something I didn’t even know existed is now part of my daily life. I always have one on me as I like to be prepared for any situation. One thing I’ve had issues with though is being able to carry a large enough power bank — capacity-wise — to power whatever I need. Most of the ones I carry are only good for a single charge for my phone or are too heavy to carry. When I found the 10000 mAh Power Bank from eeco, I was thrilled because of its slim form factor.
Only slightly larger than the iPhone 7, eeco’s 10000 mAh Power Bank is ideal for carrying along in your purse, laptop bag, or even a camera bag. The battery weighs 233 grams (iPhone 7 weighs 138g) which is quite a bit less than the Lumsing Glory P2 Plus 15000 mAh Power Bank that I reviewed a couple of months ago. That power bank weighs 356 grams and even though it’s got a larger capacity, eeco’s Power Bank is nearly a quarter of its size.
eeco’s Power Bank has three ports on it — Micro USB (in), Type-C (In/Out), and Standard USB 3.0 (out). If you have access to Qualcomm quick charging, then it should only take about 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery. If not, you will need around 6 hours. The Power Bank is a Li-ion Polymer battery, which is common in most home electronics. The power bank comes packaged with a Micro USB cable for charging and an instructions manual.
The packaging of the power bank is very simple, but distinct. The box is branded with the ‘eeco’ logo and is adorned with black and white coloring. When you open the top flap, you will notice a ‘Thank You’ message written out in five languages. I think that it’s a nice touch because it’s not something that is necessary and the company did it anyway. The inner packaging secures the battery and its accessories from sliding around. The Power Bank ships with a short Micro USB cable and a manual.
The eeco Power Bank is very sleek looking. It’s a gorgeous gunmetal gray color and it’s about the size of an iPhone 7. The eeco battery I received had a charge of approximately 75%, which I really appreciate as a user. There’s nothing worse than picking up a power bank at the store because your phone is dead and then discovering you have to charge the power bank before its first use. During my first test, I had discovered my phone was around 12% battery power when I plugged it into the eeco Power Bank. After 30 minutes, I had gained 35% battery power. I’ve not had anything that I could charge using the Qualcomm QC port, but have found the USB-C port very effective.
If you are looking for a good, high-quality power bank, this one from eeco is a great place to start. It’s easy to carry, has a large capacity, and works for multiple devices. For around $30, it’s a great bargain. I’ve not had any issues with it overheating or causing my devices to heat up either.
