Last year, I wrote an article about my adventure on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, the biggest shopping day of the year. In the past, I’ve planned out my Black Friday shopping with blackfriday.info, but have since tried my luck with Black Friday iPhone apps. With the big day being only 2 weeks away from today, I thought I would highlight a few iPhone apps that are available.
First of all, I want to give a warning to anyone who decides to search for Black Friday in the App Store. You will come across apps that feature Rebecca Black’s “Friday.” These are not the apps you are looking for.
Black Friday Ads – This app allows users to review the Black Friday ads from the stores. It’s helpful so that you don’t have to take all the paper ads with you.
TGI Black Friday – This app includes the Black Friday apps and allows users to create a personal shopping list so that you can cross off items as you purchase them. Push notifications and the ability to email your shopping list to yourself or others are also included features.
Black Friday App – Adding to the two features of the previously discussed apps, this one also includes the ability to share items on social networking sites.
Whatever app you choose to go with, I would heavily suggest that you plan ahead, especially if it’s your first time.
