Circa News is the news re-imagined for mobile lifestyles.
I don’t watch the evening news. I don’t read the newspaper. I get my news by either looking up news.google.com or by seeing what’s in my Facebook feed. I know that this is also true of many people my age. We just don’t have the time to sit down and watch an 30-minute long news program. What we do have time for is reading through a brief news app with the headlines in between meetings, play dates and soccer games. That is what makes Circa News such a great news solution for people on the go.
Circa News is an iOS app that condenses news stories making it easier to read while mobile. The news editors for Circa cull through the news to bring users up-to-date, news briefs, which are faster to read and easy to keep up with. The categories that Circa features are Top Stories, U.S., World, U.S. Politics and Technology.
I just started testing this app, but I’m already so impressed with it that I plan on making it a part of my daily routine. The layout of the app is clean and there are no ads cluttering up the app’s landscape. One of the best part of the app is the ‘follow’ feature. You can follow a specific article and if there are any updates, Circa News will notify you via a push message. You can share articles through social networking like Facebook or Twitter, test message or email.
Circa is currently on version 2.0 (updated October 3, 2013) and included updates to optimize the app for iOS 7. Circa News is free to download and is available from the app store or by clicking the link below.
