The Quick Grip is a must-have accessory for DSLR photographers.
I love my Canon 70D, I sometimes don’t want to use it outside of the office because I fear that I’m going to drop and damage one of my favorite devices. Not too long ago, I started looking into was different style grips that could help me lose the fear of dropping my camera. That’s how I found the Quick Grip DSLR Hand Strap from Case Logic.
The Quick Grip is designed to fit most DSLR camera by attaching to the camera’s tripod mount plate. It screws directly into the base of the camera and extends out from the camera just far enough for you to be able to slip the loop around your wrist. It’s made mostly from nylon and has a breathable mesh covering on the wrist pad to provide comfort. The Quick Grip is completely adjustable and provides a lot of extra security for you while you are using your camera.
The Quick Grip comes in a small branded box with some minor instructions included. Inside the box, the strap comes in one piece. When you attach it to your camera, you simply screw the strap into the tripod mount and then slip the nylon loop through the metal strap connector near the shutter button. I was able to install it within a few seconds of unboxing it.
When I was using it I found the Quick Grip to be comfortable and it really helped with better handling of my camera. In some cases, it even helped with stabilization because it was attached to my wrist as well as being held by my hand. It’s great for quick shots. I can grab my camera and grab a photo of a product I need real quick while still having a secure feeling that my camera is going to stay on my hand.
Before the Quick Grip, I was using the standard Canon neck strap that came with the camera and a shoulder strap/sling when I was out and about. Both of those options are not very easy to use in a studio setting. The Quip Grip is perfect for it. It’s a really great inexpensive accessory that every DSLR photographer should have. It’s comfortable and very easy to use.
