iPad event set for October 16th Tim Cook said early in the year that Apple had some cool things in the pipeline and today Apple sent out invites to a Town Hall event held at Apple campus at 10AM PT on October 16th. What new products could they be announcing? My guess is a new Apple TV, iPad with Touch ID, the public release of Yosemite and only Apple knows what else. This lines up as Apple has released the last few iPads in October. I believe we will hear more about HomeKit during the announcement. Stay tuned to MacSources…

iPhone 6 Plus and its first full day of use. Tonight I thought I’d jot down my thoughts on the iPad Mini…oh, sorry. I mean the iPhone 6 Plus. I’m not going to push the specs of this device because you can read all that on apple.com.  I will say that the iPhone 6 Plus is a breath of fresh air. Mobile carriers to have limited stock of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. How will carriers handle the lack of iPhones delivered for tomorrow’s launch?
