I like to keep my products in as close to pristine condition as possible. That includes my laptop. I have a 15-inch MacBook Pro Retina that I try very hard to keep scratch and dent free. This can become a challenge when I end up taking my laptop everywhere. Taking this into consideration, I started looking for a stylish, protective laptop sleeve to accompany my MacBook Pro on trips outside the home and found the Incipio Asher – Premium Laptop Sleeve.
The Asher sleeve is a very sturdy, well-made compliment to the MacBook Pro. One of the things I was looking for in a sleeve was style. The Asher has sleek lines and a sophisticated design that can’t be matched.
All sleeves are not created equal as I would quickly find out upon receiving Incipio’s Asher in the mail. It has a faux fur lined interior with ample padding to protect your laptop against daily bumps and scratches. I’ve noticed in the past that some padding breaks down rendering the sleeve useless for impact protection. That has not been the case with the Asher. Its padding has stayed firm and formed to the sleeve as it should be.

I have been and continue to be very impressed with the functionality of this sleeve. I don’t feel at all as thought my MacBook Pro is not protected and love showing off the bold color and style of it when I go out in public with my laptop. One feature I was really intrigued by was the water resistant zipper. The closure of the main pocket is a zipper with a water resistant seal. While this wasn’t something I was actively seeking out, I was glad to have it because there are many times that I leave the house when it’s raining and the zipper allows my laptop to be further protected from the elements.
I was also surprised by the outer pocket and its size. The pocket is large enough for an iPad. I found this to be a huge benefit because it means it’s one sleeve to carry it all – you can carry your laptop and tablet, or your laptop and some cables along without an extra bag or pouch. The pocket is discreet, but very useable because of its size.

Hi,
This looks like a perfect sleeve. But I’m wandering, does the new MacBook Pro 15″ with touch bar fit nicely in it? Or is it to big?
I have a very sleeve for my old MacBook Pro 15″… but it’s way to big, it’ll move around…

It’s an awesome sleeve but because the new MacBook Pro with TouchBar has a smaller body it does move around inside the sleeve. It’s still protected but its got a small bit of play inside.
