Apple releases minor updates to several of its operating systems.
Apple issued a software update for iOS, tvOS, and watchOS today, July 9. These are not considered ‘major’ updates to any of these systems, but they are public releases and available for all users. For information on the security these updates, visit https://support.apple.com/kb/HT201222.
iOS 11.4.1: A bug fix that improves the security of your iPhone or iPad. The update fixes an issue that prevented some users from viewing the last known location of their AirPods in Find My iPhone and improves the reliability of syncing mail, contacts and notes with Exchange accounts. An update for HomePod was also released along with iOS 11.4.1 and includes “general improvements for stability and quality” according to Apple.
watchOS 4.3.2: This update is meant to fix various bugs and improve the stability of the operating system. Not many details are included with the release notes.
tvOS 11.4.1: No release notes were provided with this update.
Major updates to each of these operating systems are expected in the fall and are currently in beta.
