Today, Apple has released updates for iOS (version 12.1.4), macOS Mojave (version 10.14.3), and Shortcuts for iOS (version 2.1.3). The biggest bug these updates fix is related to the Group FaceTime error that was found to allow users to ‘spy’ on the people they were calling.
The glitch was described with the following information within the Security Notes for iOS 12.1.4:
Impact: The initiator of a Group FaceTime call may be able to cause the recipient to answer
Description: A logic issue existed in the handling of Group FaceTime calls. The issue was addressed with improved state management.
