iOS 10.3.1 update brings security fixes.
Only one week after iOS 10.3 was released, Apple launched an iOS update for users — version 10.3.1. This update brings some bug fixes and improves the security of iOS devices. The update is only 31.1 MB and shouldn’t take very long to download and install. While there aren’t many details about the ‘bug fixes’, Apple did include this information regarding the security update:
Wi-Fi
- Available for: iPhone 5 and later, iPad 4th generation and later, iPod touch 6th generation and later
- Impact: An attacker within range may be able to execute arbitrary code on the Wi-Fi chip
- Description: A stack buffer overflow was addressed through improved input validation.
