Apple Environmental Report News:

Apple outlines environmental plans and progress in 2015 Environmental Responsibility Report.

Apple released its Environmental Responsibility Report today – Monday, April 20, which describes the company’s commitment to lessening its environmental impact. The report stated that even Apple’s overall carbon footprint increased between 2013 and 2014 in part due to its increase of products. Even though the carbon footprint may have increased, 100% of Apple’s data centers, corporate offices and retail stores in the United States, as well as 87% of its global facilities run on renewable resources. Additionally, over 80% of the paper products used in packaging at Apple come from certified sustainably managed forests, controlled wood sources, or recycled materials.
